Last night
The rain drenched me.
Cold and shivering
I came to you
Seeking warmth
Your mouth
Did not
Claim mine
To blow a heat
To Life
Instead
You broke dried twigs
From the past
Gathered
Dry leaves
Of the time gone by
And built
A fire
Emptying our hearts
Of shriveled words
Smoothing out lines
We studied our palms
Shedding tears...
Then
Pruning , sawing
Whatever you found
Outgrowing
On my body ,
Chopping off
The taboos
All these
You fed to flames
To keep me warm
And alive.

Friday Flash 55ve Fiction : Thanksgiving
Dear God
Thanks for making my entry into the world easy. Bless my Mommy and Daddy and my trifle bit jealous little big brother , 'cause I know that deep in his heart he loves me. And bless my aunts too. Look, I even dressed up as a nun and my hands are blue from clasping...

Friday Flash 55ve Fiction
One old man to another : 'Where have you been for last eight weeks?"
" In Jail"
"In Jail??? What for!!!??"
" Well, I was standing at a corner, and this beautiful young girl came with a policeman saying, ' Officer, this is the man who attacked and tried to kiss me.' I felt so flattered, that I admitted!"

Monkey Man's Sunday 160
Just to tell
There's Indian version
Of Halloween
Called Tesu Jhenji
Where kids carry Monster
Tesu and Jhenji
His lantern wife
Asking for money.
