One Shot Wednesday

Winter nights
Smoky, aching blue
Piercing my eyes
Open
Work my form
To frenzy...

Dreams
Open eyed
Like a Comma,
Pause-
Hush me
To a moments ease...

Coming to rest
Your head
On my breast
Encircling arms
My ready lips
Soothe your
Aching brow...
Transmuting ease...

And in one
Centered second
Swallowing sparks
That light your mind
In your rest
I rest.

Written for One Shot Wednesday  weekly poem

there is great intimacy in this...what it reminds me of though is a mother and child...perhaps the child not feeling well...nice mona!
